As we pass through this beautiful country, we see reminders of the brutal civil war that raged here from 1998-1999 and the main victims were innocent civilians. The aggression launched by Serbia led to more than 10,000 deaths over the conflict years. Cities, towns and neighborhoods were besieged by the Serbian army. Families were wiped out or torn apart and almost half of Kosova’s population of 2 million people were made refugees.
Although fighting ended many years ago, today much of Kosova remains a casualty of war. Its people face daily poverty. Unemployment is high. Access to medical care is limited. The murder of more than 10,000 people has left a generation of orphans.
We are proud to have been involved in philanthropic activities in Kosova for the past 15 years. And we will continue to be active in helping build a better future for the people of this country, through our tours.
We would be delighted if you were to join us in any existing or new charitable initiative that interests you. Your holiday experience will be greatly enhanced when you have the chance to put something back into the local community and you can see the results for yourself.
Our projects include helping orphans and poor families, rebuilding war-damaged schools and homes, school exchange trips, volunteer programs and others.
We are happy to show you the projects we are involved in and discuss any ideas with you, either before or during your trip with us.
Please feel free to contact us anytime if you have any questions.
